LAKE O’HARA & THE CANADIAN ROCKIES
AUGUST 10 - 16, 2025
One of Earth’s most breathtaking places is the Canadian Rockies! Each summer this amazing place comes alive, with blue-green waters that transform this unique glacial mountain landscape into awe-inspiring lakes, wild rivers and impressive canyons. One of the most coveted experiences in the Canadian Rockies is an extended stay at the incomparable Lake O’Hara Lodge! Truly an immersion you will remember for the rest of your life. We will surround ourselves with the grandeur of Lake O’Hara for three days and nights in quaint accommodations in Lake O’Hara Lodge or their lakeside cabins.. We will then photograph these UNESCO World Heritage Sites, visiting three national parks in British Columbia and Alberta — Banff, Kootenay, and Yoho from Lake Louise. Picture perfect perspectives of this magical mounta in landscape.
There are so many superlatives in this wilderness that we will experience, including the Columbia Icefield, the largest uninterrupted glacial mass in the Rockies. We’ll capture images of high peaks, alpine valleys, aspen groves, and powerful waterfalls. We will also photograph the mesmerizing blue-green color of glacial water at locations like Peyto Lake, Lake Louise, and the famous Moraine Lake in the visually stunning Valley of the Ten Peaks.
Spend the week immersed in big wilderness and brilliant photography in one of the most stunning mountain ranges on earth!
