December 5 - 12, 2025

Doug Johnson Photography is again teaming up with the Cuba Travel Adventure Group to offer an all inclusive and an incredible opportunity for you to experience and photograph Cuba! Discover inspiring Havana and beyond, during this immersive photography workshop featuring authentic firsthand encounters with locals from all walks of life. Our DJP workshop will be joined by a local Cuban guide to provide you with an amazing educational and cultural experience.

Arriving in Havana we’ll spend a few days experiencing its historic plazas, famous El Malecón seawall, and colorful streets of Old Havana. When I signed up for the DJP photography workshop in Cuba, I was expecting to capture tons of colorful images, from people to street scenes to the vintage 50’s cars. It was all this and more; it exceeded my expectations. While it was a photography workshop with critiques and in-field instruction, it was also an immersion into the Cuban culture, history, architecture, food/drink, and art. There is nothing better for me than to truly see a country and try to capture the impressions it made on me while there, all while sharing a common love of photography with like-minded photographers.
