COAST OF MAINE & ACADIA NATIONAL PARK

OCTOBER 6 - 12, 2025

Few places offer the variety of beautiful photographic opportunities found along the coast of Maine in autumn! Not only are there forests laced with vibrant fall color, but there are endless visual possibilities of fishing harbors, historic lighthouses, cobblestone beaches, seaside villages, granite cliffs, and stretching blue ocean. During this special week in Maine, we’ll experience them all!

We begin our adventure in Rockland, Maine, where “the mountains meet the sea” to photograph Friendship Harbor and the lighthouses and rocky shorelines at Pemaquid Point and Marshall Point. As a highlight of the trip, we’ll hop on a ferry to explore Monhegan Island, 10 miles off the coast and known as the “Artist’s Island” for its long heritage of influencing American artists like Andrew Wyeth and Rockwell Kent. We will then move to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park to photograph the breathtaking views from Cadillac Mountain, the spectacular coastline near Otter Cliffs, and the magical Birch Forest at the Wild Gardens of Acadia.

Join us in October to inspire the artist within you, enjoy the camaraderie of other photographers, and surround yourself with Maine’s coastal beauty.
